CHRIS DIANGELO
Chris DiAngelo has over 30 years of experience as a Senior Partner in Wall Street law firms. He is currently a Senior Partner in Katten Muchin Rosenman’s New York office, heading its Structured Finance practice group.
As an attorney at Katten and a Senior Advisor at Majority Group, Chris has represented a wide range of public and private entities, including a third of the Fortune 100 companies, as well as a number of government and nonprofit organizations and individuals. Chris represents a broad range of clients in the mortgage finance industry, including issuers, lenders, underwriters and bond insurers, on a variety of programs and projects, including asset-backed debt, municipal debt, straight corporate debt and equity, warehouse lines, regulatory matters and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Katten, Chris served as co-head of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s Structured Finance Group in New York City. He was also on the staff of the New York State Housing Finance Agency, a prominent municipal issuer.
Chris has been recognized in Chambers USA and Chambers Global as a leader in the field of Capital Markets: Securitization in the US. Chris serves on the Board of Directors of the American Securitization Forum and he is a recognized national expert on the topic of Fannie and Freddie “reform” initiatives, and personally follows the Government’s REO disposition strategy.
